The YMCA of Greater Dayton offers Athletic Training at select locations.

What does an Athletic Trainer do? An Athletic Trainer is a Sports Medicine Professional specialized in evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Athletic Trainers must obtain their Bachelor's Degree along with maintaining their National Certification and State License (in most states). Services can include but are not limited to injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, injury education, athletic taping, emergency care, first aid, and Physician or Physical Therapy referrals. Services are provided by Kettering Health Network or Premier Health (depending on branch location) and are FREE to YMCA members.

Sports Medicine by Kettering Health Network is offered at the following YMCA branches: Kleptz, Preble County, West Carrollton, Huber Heights, South, and Fairborn.
